A Look Back At 2024: Leobit’s Year of Accomplishments

In 2024, Leobit reached a major milestone: our 10th anniversary. Over the past decade, we’ve grown into a trusted global technology partner and delivered more than 150 innovative solutions, including some that have achieved unicorn status and earned widespread recognition.

From prestigious awards to expanding our geography and taking impactful community engagement, the past year was filled with achievements that set new benchmarks for our team. Let’s take a closer look at the highlights of this extraordinary journey.

2024 has been a year of achievements and awards for Leobit, which reaffirmed our position as a leader in software development. In 2024, we earned 78 awards across multiple categories, including global recognition in software development, .NET, Cloud computing, AI, and others. The awards also highlighted our impact across various industries, including real estate and proptech, legal, and media.

Our company was recognized on a global level in several categories, including:

• Silver Stevie® Award in the Customer Service Department of the Year category at the prestigious 2024 International Business Awards®, the world’s premier business awards program. The 2024 awards saw participation from over 3,600 nominations submitted by companies of all sizes, representing 62 countries worldwide. Each entry underwent a rigorous evaluation process by an international panel of 230 judges who provided detailed reviews and scores based on excellence, innovation, and impact.

• Top 1000 Global Service Provider on Clutch for the third consecutive year in 2024. This prestigious award is given to just 1,000 out of the 350,000 companies on the platform based on their industry recognition, customer reviews, experience, and portfolio.
• Top Software Developers 2024, according to Clutch. This recognition emphasizes our expertise, dedication to quality, and commitment to delivering exceptional software solutions for our clients.

In addition to that, Leobit has been shortlisted for the Sports Technology Awards in the “Fitness and Participation” category for our gamified fitness app LeoStep, competing with renowned names such as Apple’s Fitness+ and INCISIV’s Cleansheet.

In 2024, our focus on .NET development reached new heights as we successfully delivered over 100 projects across various industries and complexities. As one of our core technologies, .NET plays a vital role in our work, and our team has been actively expanding our expertise in using its latest advancements, including .NET 9, Blazor, .NET MAUI, and more. Our commitment to staying ahead of the curve did not go unnoticed — Clutch recognized us as a top company for .NET, ASP.NET, and C# development in 2024.

2024 also marked the end of support for the popular cross-platform framework Xamarin. So, we are helping our existing and new clients seamlessly transition to Xamarin’s successor, .NET MAUI, to ensure the continuity of their operations.

In 2024, Leobit has significantly broadened its AI/ML & Generative AI software development services and deepened our expertise in the development of large language models (LLMs).

We are actively working on LLM-based projects for our clients and also using these technologies to improve processes within our own company. So far, we’ve developed our internal AI assistants powered by our Corporate LLM to tackle operational challenges in sales, marketing, and HR, automate repetitive tasks, and simplify resource-intensive processes.

Our team also passed a rigorous scoring and reaffirmed its status as a Microsoft Solutions Partner in the updated Microsoft AI Cloud Partner Program, which expands requirements for Microsoft partners to strengthen their expertise in AI development and integration.

We’ve been actively sharing our expertise in AI/ML & Generative AI software development and model integration. For instance, in June, our founder and CEO, Oleksa Stelmakh, took the stage as one of the Finnish-Ukrainian Tech Day conference speakers, addressing the topic of AI transformation using LLM solutions. And in November, Oleksa Stelmakh, together with Leobit’s R&D Director, Yuriy Shunkin, hosted a webinar on AI transformation with corporate LLM and provided practical advice on how businesses can successfully adopt and adapt LLM technology.

Leobit always takes data security seriously and ensures compliance with regulations through a combination of robust internal processes and adherence to internationally recognized standards. Leobit complies with major data protection regulations and standards such as GDPR, CCPA, OWASP, ISO 9001:2015, and industry-specific standards like HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) and PCI DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard).

In 2024, we successfully recertified to the updated ISO 27001:2022 standard, transitioning from the previous ISO 27001:2013 standard. ISO 27001:2022 introduces an expanded scope that better aligns with modern technologies and cyber threats to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information and legal compliance.

At the end of the year, Leobit also proudly reaffirmed its Gold-level partnership with ISTQB for the second consecutive year. The ISTQB Partner Program is a global initiative recognizing organizations committed to advancing the skills and expertise of their software testing professionals, and we are proud to be their partner for the past four years.

In 2024, Leobit’s presence on the global stage grew stronger than ever. We actively participated in several international conferences and events, including:

• Finnish-Ukrainian Tech Day in Espoo, Finland. Oleksa Stelmakh, Founder and CEO of Leobit, delivered a presentation on AI transformation using custom LLM solutions. Our team also hosted a booth where attendees could explore our custom AI-powered Sales Rep Assistant, Leora, and learn more about our services.
• Slush Conference in Helsinki, Finland. As the world’s leading startup event, Slush provided a platform to network with global innovators and thought leaders.
• PropTech Summit in Hamburg, Germany. This trade fair and conference for the proptech industry allowed us to connect with key players and explore the future of real estate technology.

While building global recognition and partnerships, we also made significant contributions to Ukraine’s IT community.

• Fwdays’24 in Kyiv. Our SDO & IT Director, Serhiy Harntsarik, delivered an insightful talk on the topic, “How to Effectively Manage and Motivate Employees in the Company’s Reserve.” Fwdays is one of Ukraine’s largest tech events focused on innovative technology and software development.
• Kyiv IT Outsourcing Forum 2024. Oleksa Stelmakh shared insights on scaling IT outsourcing companies, presenting on the journey from 1 to 100 employees and then from 100 to 200.
• .NET fwdays’24. Leobit participated as a Gold Partner, where our colleague Serhiy Lishchuk discussed “GraphQL: The Good Parts” with industry leaders. He explored the key advantages of using GraphQL, a powerful query language and runtime for APIs, which makes it a flexible and efficient alternative to REST in modern application development.

In 2024, Leobit continued to provide high-quality custom software development services to our long-term clients while also establishing collaborations with new ones. We welcomed new clients from the United States, Europe, and the Middle East, further expanding our geographic reach and strengthening our global presence.

For several consecutive years, we have maintained a company rating of 99 out of 100. In 2024, DOU, the largest community of developers in Ukraine, recognized Leobit as 1 of the 3 leading IT employers in Lviv. Nationwide, in the 80–200 employee category, Leobit secured 6th place.

Our people are the driving force behind our success, and we constantly invest resources into their professional growth, well-being, and overall development. In 2024, we significantly increased the number of internal events aimed at helping our team learn new professional skills and support mental health.

In 2024, we launched a series of technical lectures where our colleagues explained software development concepts to non-technical specialists in a simple and accessible way. Alongside this initiative, we organized Leobit Talks and various upskilling events to enhance the expertise of our technical professionals.

To keep the team connected and energized, we also hosted a range of recreational activities that brought Leobit members together, lifted spirits, and introduced new experiences. These included creative workshops, team breakfasts, board game nights, and more.

Here are some of the highlights for 2024:

• Our team attended one of Ukraine’s largest tech conferences, IT Arena 2024.
• We organized an interactive event for QA testers called “Bug Hunt Challenge.”
• We held 8 sessions of “Technical Literacy for Non-Technical Specialists.”
• We held 10 technical lectures for our technical specialists.
• Leobit team members climbed one of the beautiful peaks in the Carpathian Mountains as a part of a team-building adventure.

At Leobit, we believe that corporate success goes hand in hand with social responsibility. In 2024, Leobit continued supporting vital causes and giving back to the community. Through various charitable initiatives, we contributed a total of $141,115 (5,449,710 UAH) to several important causes:

• Support of Ukraine’s Defenders. Leobit donated $117,887 to support the nation’s defense efforts during the russian-Ukrainian war. This included buying equipment, Starlink satellites, and medications. We also participated in the IT cluster initiative “Drone Hunters,” which focuses on protecting critical infrastructure in the Lviv region and ensuring the region’s continuous operation amidst the threat of Shahed drone attacks.
• Ohmatdyt Hospital. Leobit donated 100,000 UAH ($2,472) to support Ukraine’s leading pediatric hospital, which treats the most complex cases and conducts thousands of surgeries each day. It was deliberately targeted by a russian missile during the russian shelling of Kyiv on July 8th, 2024. Our contribution aims to help the hospital recover and continue providing essential care to its young patients.
• MriyaDiya Project. We allocated 52,003 UAH ($1,263) to support the physical and mental rehabilitation of Ukrainian defenders returning from war. The MriyaDia initiative provides a safe and supportive space where veterans can undergo rehabilitation, learn new skills, receive career guidance, and reconnect with society. It fosters recovery, helping veterans regain their strength, spirit, and confidence — an essential step toward returning to their families and rebuilding their lives.

Since the company’s founding, we have actively participated in several social projects. Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, Leobit has donated over $509,000 to charitable causes.
