AI Sentiment Analysis Tool For Text & Emotion Detection
A proof-of-concept sentiment analysis solution that evaluates text and identifies its overall mood and tone. The tool features a clean and intuitive interface built with React.js and Tailwind. A Ruby-based back end, enhanced with the Puma 6.5 web server and HTTP requests from the HTTParty 0.22 library, connects it to the Azure Language API, which handles sentiment analysis, opinion mining, and emotional tone detection.
The solution assigns confidence scores to major tones of voice (positive, negative, neutral, or mixed) and determines the general mood of the text. The framework used during this project can be enhanced to provide deeper and more specific text analyses.
