Trainee QA Engineer

As a Trainee Software QA Engineer at Leobit company, you must be capable of performing Black-box testing of Web and Mobile platforms. You must have a keen eye for detail, critical thinking, and high organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. Demonstrate high result orientation and responsibility for own work.

Location: Lviv.

Responsibilities:

Analyze and validate requirements (specifications, acceptance criteria, etc.)
Create Test Documentation (test design, test scenarios, test cases, GUI checklists, etc.)
Prepare Test Data
Perform Functional / non-functional testing of product increments (Web/Desktop/Mobile)
Prepare and execute SQL scripts
Update baseline documentation following requirements changes
Create bug reports and document deviations from the expected results with screenshots and videos
Provide regular Test Status updates to stakeholders
Work with Project and Test Management Tools

Requirements:

Familiarity with Agile frameworks (Scrum)
Understanding the purpose of Software Quality
Understanding QA role in cross-functional Agile teams
Knowledge of Fundamental Test Process Phases
Knowledge of Testing Types and Techniques
Knowledge of Test Documentation types/purpose
Technical skills in test scenario preparation and test execution
Technical skills in documenting and troubleshooting defects
Familiarity with test case/ project management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail, Zephyr, Azure DevOps)
Strong self-organization skills
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or in “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math)
Level of English: Intermediate
