Tech Lead Full-Stack Engineer (Node.js/React)

Leobit (leobit.com) is a full-cycle web and mobile application development provider for technology companies and startups primarily located in the US, Canada, Australia, the UK, and the EU. Our technology focus covers .NET, Angular, React, iOS, Android, Ruby, PHP, and a comprehensive range of other technologies from Microsoft, Web, and Mobile Stacks.

We are looking for a Tech Lead Full-Stack Engineer (Node.js/React) to join our team. Project: A high-performance web platform focused on scalability, security, and modern UX/UI design.

Requirements:

• Five years of professional experience in full-stack development (at least)
• Strong expertise in Node.js
• Strong expertise in React
• Expert-level knowledge in TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS
• Deep understanding of component-based architecture and UI best practices
• Experience building and maintaining scalable web applications
• Solid knowledge of web security (e.g., HSTS, HTTPS, CSP headers)
• Experience handling high-traffic interfaces and large datasets
• Good knowledge of Git
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science (or similar technical field)
• Level of English: Upper-Intermediate (at least)

Would be a plus:

• Experience with AI assistants
• Familiarity with frameworks like Next.js or Express
• Knowledge of SEO optimization and performance audits (e.g., Lighthouse)

Responsibilities:

• Collect, analyze, and document technical requirements for software development
• Define technical direction and architecture decisions
• Design, document, and demonstrate software architecture using flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, etc. 
• Provide strategic leadership for a development team
• Ensure security, performance, and code quality best practices
• Effectively collaborate with the project team and project stakeholders to achieve goals
• Ensure the reliability and scalability of AWS infrastructure
• Estimate complex projects using different techniques
• Research, study, and develop new or complex technical solutions/technologies (R&D)
• Package and support deployment of releases
• Setup integration with external software and API’s
• Conduct code reviews and mentor Junior and Intermediate Engineers
