Responsibilities:Talent Acquisition and Growth: Proactively identify, attract, and onboard top engineering talent, ensuring Leobit remains competitive in the tech industry Develop and implement growth strategies for the engineering staff, providing regular feedback and tailored development plans Engineering Excellence: Monitor, audit, assess, and ensure that best engineering practices are consistently followed across all accounts Implement and oversee competency models to maintain and improve engineering standards within the organization Documentation and Presentations: Lead the creation of all SDO-related documents, ensuring they align with Leobit's standards and objectives Develop and prepare presentation materials, ensuring they effectively communicate the department's goals, accomplishments, and strategies Competence Development and Coordination: Develop core competence directions, including but not limited to .Net, Angular, React, Ruby, iOS, Android, Flutter, PHP, and Embedded systems Efficiently coordinate with Competency Managers (CMs) to ensure alignment and effective execution of competence strategies Initiate and oversee the establishment of new competence directions based on industry trends and company needs Knowledge Sharing and Training: Lead the development and delivery of internal technical presentations and training sessions, fostering a culture of continuous learning and knowledge sharing within the engineering team Manage and oversee training and educational projects targeted at engineers in reserve, ensuring they are well-equipped with the latest skills and knowledge
Experience and skills we need:A minimum of 10 years of experience in software development At least 3 years of experience as a Tech Lead or System Architect Excellent knowledge of .Net, Web, clouds technologies Deep proficiency in architectural tactics, approaches, patterns, frameworks, and computer science concepts Good understanding of software quality metrics, including their development, application, and impact on performance and reliability Profound knowledge of software development processes, methodologies, and best practices Extensive experience in performance evaluation, hiring, and assembling top-tier technical teams Strong leadership experience including of mentoring, coaching, and driving team success Proficient in handling administrative duties, including the establishment of processes, formulation of policies, and drafting of guidelines Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities Exceptional communication and presentation skills, including public speaking, delivering technical lectures, facilitating workshops, etc. Bachelor’s or Master's degree in computer science or a related field Level of English: Upper-Intermediate or higher
