Project Manager

We are seeking a proactive and experienced Project Manager to join our team. This role is crucial for ensuring the successful delivery of a portfolio of small to mid-sized projects, managing cross-functional teams, and maintaining clear communication with all stakeholders, all while fostering a continuous desire to learn and grow by own example.

While a technical background is a big plus, we place higher value on your ability to lead delivery, manage ambiguity, and maintain alignment across diverse stakeholders. This role demands exceptional communication and collaboration skills to work with multiple client-side stakeholders that sometimes might be unsynchronized, loosely structured, and lacking in clear processes.

In this role, you will be expected to oversee the entire software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, planning, deployment, and post-release support, with a strong emphasis on cross-functional coordination and clear communication with client stakeholders.

The position is open in Lviv and includes the possibility of working from the office from time to time.

Responsibilities:

• Direct and manage several small to mid-sized projects of moderate complexity
• Determine and implement appropriate project methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban)
• Oversee the full project lifecycle, from planning and requirements gathering through to deployment and support
• Define project scope, timelines, and budgets, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery
• Manage and monitor tasks and workflows using standard project tracking tools (e.g., JIRA)
• Act as a primary liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders
• Coordinate cross-functional collaboration between development, QA, and other support teams
• Define, analyze, and manage project risks
• Implement and utilize project management metrics
• Continuously analyze client needs and seek opportunities to strengthen customer relationships

Requirements:

• Proven experience (e.g., 2+ years) as a Project Manager managing software development projects
• Deep understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and various project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Kanban)
• Hands-on experience with project planning and estimation
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and conflict management skills
• Excellent leadership and people management skills
• Proactive attitude and a strong desire to learn and continually develop professionally
• Proficiency with project tracking and documentation tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence)
• Professional certification (PMP, PMI-ACP, Prince2) (would be a plus)
• Experience with managing several project teams simultaneously (would be a plus)
• Experience participating in pre-sales activities (would be a plus)
• Previous experience in a technical or lead role (e.g., QA Lead, Team Lead, Solution Architect) (would be a plus)
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field (e.g., business, computer science, or similar)
• Level of English: Upper-Intermediate (at least)
