Senior QA Engineer
Location: Lviv
Responsibilities:
Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for the web application to ensure product quality and reliability Enhance and maintain the test automation framework using tools like Cypress, with a focus on improving test efficiency and coverage Execute automated test scripts, analyze results, and report on test coverage and product quality metrics Perform manual testing to identify and report bugs, issues, and usability problems Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and provide valuable input during the development process Actively participate in design and requirement reviews, providing feedback to improve testability and product quality early in the development lifecycle Identify, document, and prioritize test scenarios, considering different use cases and edge cases Conduct regression testing and validate new features and enhancements to ensure they meet the specified requirements and do not introduce regressions Continuously improve QA processes and methodologies, advocating for best practices and adopting innovative testing techniquesExperience and skills we need:
5+ years of proven experience as a QA Engineer, with a focus on manual testing of web applications At least 1 year of proven experience with test automation tools and frameworks, with hands-on experience in Cypress, Capybara, Selenium and similar tools Experience with version control systems like Git and CI/CD processes Strong understanding of QA methodologies, testing processes, and best practices in an Agile development environment Solid knowledge of different testing types, including functional, regression, performance, and usability testing Experience with bug-tracking systems and test management tools to track defects and manage test cases efficiently Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to collaborate with cross-functional teams and articulate QA-related insights A proactive and self-driven approach to work, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or in “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) Level of English: Upper-Intermediate (at least)We offer:
