Senior Java Engineer

Leobit is a full-cycle web and mobile application development provider for the technology companies and startups primarily located in the US, Canada, Australia, the UK, and the EU. Our technology focus covers .NET, Angular, React, Java, iOS, Android, Ruby, PHP and a comprehensive range of other technologies from Microsoft, Web, and Mobile Stacks.

We are looking for a Senior Java Engineer to join our team.

Requirements:

• Four-year working experience in Java (at least)
• Profound knowledge of Spring, Spring Boot
• Strong knowledge of NoSQL (preferably Couchbase)
• Knowledge of building web services (SOAP, REST, etc.)
• Experience with GraphQL
• Understanding of microservices architecture
• Experience with cloud providers (preferably GCP)
• Knowledge of Docker containers and Kubernetes
• Experience in TDD
• Experience with 3rd party API integrations
• Ability to work with deployment automation (Terraform)
• Experience in unit/integration/acceptance testing and JUnit
• Experience with Graphite, Grafana, Kinaba
• Strong analytical skills
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science (or similar technical field)
• Level of English: Upper-Intermediate (at least)

Responsibilities:

• Develop well-designed, easy maintainable, scalable and reusable software
• Design, document and demonstrate software architecture
• Estimate complex projects using different techniques
• Research, study and develop new or complex technical solutions/technologies (R&D)
• Develop automated unit tests, collect code coverage
• Implement performance/load/stress testing procedures according to project needs
• Provide continuous integration practices on the projects
• Package and support deployment of releases
• Setup integration with external software
• Provide technical assistance in presale activities
• Mentor junior and intermediate developers
