Senior Front-End Engineer (Next.js)

Leobit (leobit.com) is a full cycle web and mobile application development provider for the technology companies and startups primarily located in the US, Canada, Australia, the UK, and the EU. Our technology focus covers .NET, Angular, React, iOS, Android, Ruby, PHP and a comprehensive range of other technologies from Microsoft, Web, and Mobile Stacks.

We are looking for a Senior Front-End Engineer (Next.js) to join our team.

Location: EU.

Working Hours: Minimum 4-hour overlap with US Central Time (CT)

Requirements:

• Five-year working experience building front-end applications at scale
• Expertise in Next.js and React
• Excellent knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript
• Strong command of state management, performance optimization, and design systems
• Proficient in turning designs into polished UIs using Figma
• Skilled at integrating with RESTful APIs, managing auth flows (OAuth, SSO), and contributing to API design discussions
• Familiar with CI/CD pipelines and modern testing frameworks
• Experienced working in cross-functional teams, collaborating closely with design, product, and backend engineering
• Opinionated about front-end architecture with the ability to clearly justify technical decisions
• Knowledge of other modern web standards, security practices, front-end performance patterns, scalability, and accessibility practices
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science (or similar technical field)
• Level of English: Upper-Intermediate (at least)

Responsibilities:

• Collect, analyze, and document technical requirements for software development
• Develop well-designed, easy maintainable, scalable, and reusable software
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to deliver elegant user experiences
• Contribute to and help lead front-end architectural decisions, tooling, and best practices
• Ensure consistent quality through code reviews, testing, and documentation
• Accurately scope and estimate work during sprint planning, and deliver on time
• Research, study, and develop new or complex technical solutions/technologies (e.g. R&D). Bring fresh ideas that can benefit the project and the company
• Mentor and train junior and intermediate developers
