Intermediate Strong AQA Engineer

Leobit is looking for a skilled Intermediate Strong AQA Engineer to join our team.

We’re hiring for a project in the Fintech domain for a US-based client — a crypto payment acceptance platform for merchants and payment processors. The platform includes a CMS dashboard, reporting tools, and a service orchestration engine. The tech stack includes Angular 18, Node.js, .NET 8, AWS, MongoDB, and GitHub Actions in a monorepo environment.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure the current automated test suite is up-to-date, stable, and integrated into the CI/CD pipeline
• Design and develop new automated tests for upcoming features (UI and API level)
• Build or enhance automation frameworks if needed
• Collaborate closely with developers and DevOps to ensure testability and sufficient automation coverage
• Contribute to testing strategy and maintain high-quality standards across the team
• Participate in requirements grooming and sprint ceremonies to ensure QA alignment from the start
• Plan, estimate, and document test activities
• Execute regression, integration, and smoke tests on a regular basis
• Identify, track, and verify defects; participate in root cause analysis
• Provide clear test status updates and coverage reports

Requirements:

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in UI and API automation
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript and modern test automation tools (e.g. Cypress, Playwright)
• Experience in maintaining or extending automation frameworks (SDET-level responsibility)
• Good understanding of Git, Git flow, and CI/CD pipelines
• Familiarity with REST APIs, cloud environments (preferably AWS), and MongoDB
• Basic understanding of auth/security concepts in distributed systems
• Solid grasp of web technologies (HTML, CSS, browser behavior)
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• English level: Upper-Intermediate or higher

Nice to Have:

• Experience in performance or load testing (e.g., JMeter, k6)
• Knowledge of .NET or Node.js ecosystem (for better integration with dev teams)
• Familiarity with security testing basics
• Experience testing fintech or crypto-related platforms
