Intermediate iOS Engineer

Leobit (leobit.com) is a full cycle web and mobile application development provider for the technology companies and startups primarily located in the US, Canada, Australia, the UK, and the EU. Our technology focus covers .NET, Angular, React, iOS, Android, Ruby, PHP and a comprehensive range of other technologies from Microsoft, Web, and Mobile Stacks.

We are looking for an Intermediate iOS Engineer to join our team.

Requirements:

• Three years of working experience in iOS development (Swift) (at least)
• Strong proficiency in Objective-C (existing codebase is 60% Objective-C, with new development in Swift)
• Profound knowledge of OOP, SOLID, and Design Patterns
• Experience in unit/integration testing
• Good knowledge of Git
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Working experience with Flutter (would be a plus)
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science (or similar technical field)
• Level of English: Intermediate strong (at least)

Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain high performance applications for iOS platform
• Work on gradually improving product quality via modularization, continuous refactoring, and testing
• Maintain software documentation (diagrams, code samples, API descriptions, etc.)
• Estimate project scope using different techniques
• Submit mobile apps to store for review and beta testing
• Resolve production issues 
• Review design prototypes, participate in tech review design calls
• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies (like SwiftUI, new iOS features, for example, Widgets, etc)
